The new day begins as the sun rises
Bringing wonder and beauty to this day
With times of great joy and with surprises
To help us go forward towards our way.
Each day brings a different way to life
Learning things taking us to places new
Keeping us away from those times of strife
Into some places that we never knew.
The day passes going into the night
Where sleep and dreams remove us from this day
Preparing us for a wonderful new flight
Into the brand new day coming our way.
Each new day we live takes us into joy
Bringing new life that we cannot destroy.
