A STROLL WITH FATE

rebellion_in_sanity

I want to stare at your face
And feel mesmerized

I want to ask you
Why you put on your disguise

I want to know
Why you bare your body
But cover your soul

Oh LIFE
Why do you bless a few
And abandon those who need you most?
What darkness do you hide
Behind the glowing beauty of yours?

I beseech you to tell me
Why your days pass
On a blink of an eye?
Why you bless us with eternal nights?

Perhaps I desire too many things
Too many questions do I ask
Liberty I take
For you being my love

I am your lover
I love you with all my heart
Long nights froze my mind
Feels like I am falling apart

Bring on your light
Thaw my body, enliven my soul
Let me feel your love
Warm my longing heart
Hold my hands
Let us go out for a long stroll

Life is one of the biggest mysteries and cannot be understood in one lifetime. Sounds funny ? Great lines there.

To those that believe in God it is hard to understand why prayers are not answered the way they want.Eitherhe has greater wisdom or isn't listening

I get it. But maybe those really aren’t questions but rather a disquiet for futile realizations ?

Hi Bobby, thank you for stopping by. Your perception is spot on. It was my way of bringing out the irony. Really appreciate your comment. Did you like the piece as a poem? Thanks Bhaskar

Of course It’s a strong poem written w thought and care.
I just posted an eclectic piece that had a cadence designed to present at an open mic.
