Notice of absence from Lil
If I don't respond in a few minutes I am probably at School, sleeping, with family/ friends, or forgot to bring my device. Or grounded.

Nervous energy dances in my stomach,
like a thousand butterflies waking from sleep,
this weekend, the court glimmers—
a stage for dreams entwined with sweat,
my first game, my heart beats louder,
not just from the thrill but the weight of my hopes.
Wish me Luck!
Friends surround me, their voices lift,
“Good luck!” “You’ve got this!” they whisper
like charms in the air,
their smiles, a shield against my doubts,
making the world feel softer,
each cheer a pebble tossed into my fear,
sending ripples to calm the storm inside.
Wish me luck!
I lace up my shoes, tightening each knot,
ready to leap into the unknown,
where the ball soars like my ambitions,
and every set, spike, every serve
is whispered prayers carried on the sidelines.
like a thousand butterflies waking from sleep,
this weekend, the court glimmers—
a stage for dreams entwined with sweat,
my first game, my heart beats louder,

With each heartbeat, I know I’ll give my all,
facing the net, facing myself,
chin held high, courage gathered,
wishing, hoping—
not just to play,
but to shine, to laugh,
where every moment tells a story
worth sharing,
to help me see past the nerves
With each heartbeat, I know I’ll give my all,
facing the net, facing myself,
chin held high, courage gathered,
wishing, hoping—
not just to play,
but to shine, to laugh,
where every moment tells a story
worth sharing,
to help me see past the nerves
So guys wish me luck!
into the joy waiting at the end of the game.
into the joy waiting at the end of the game.
