A number's just a simple sign,
Yet deeper meanings intertwine.
Like scars that tell a tale,
Each figure's more than pale—
A life lived in each line, so divine!

Good write A.
Thanks!
I get that and it more than commentary , it’s Advice!
Hope that’s a good thing 😊 thanks kindly.
This is so cool, .. I believe there are those who have lives ruled by them .. whereas I do so much, prefer letters ..
Roman numerals mayhap?
This takes my mind to many areas first numerology and the meaning of numbers, cryptography and the securing of information, the very creation of symbols to represent meaning (as far as we know Sumerians being responsible for it in cuneriform writing) The further lines make it clear in great poetic style (Like scars that tell a tale,) a perfect line that I wish I had written. Letters and words as well as numbers are those scars. The last line sums it up so well and is a perfect finish
Reminds me of crow’s feet and creases, wrinkles and liver spots that all testify of a life that has truly been lived.
Great write
Thanks Tony 🙏🏻
