Sad old man in a grey suit
pretending to be
the life and soul of the party
his magnificent beer belly
fits like a glove in the suit of
Father Christmas
hating on women
as he makes you think he's your one special friend
inviting himself to meet you
where ever you are in the world
and when you don't dance to his tune
he quietly manipulates others into disliking you
he pretends to have a P.H.D
funny?
not so much...
because, I see the truth.

Makes me nervous I got a Ph.D. but seldom wear a suit these days. Don't remember hating on women though. A fun write no matter who he is.
Oh no need to even think for a second it's about you dearest sorrenbarret πΉ my friend had this exact experience I could say more but they used an avatar of a very young man and when she actually met him she was mortified, not because he was fat or old but because he pretended to to be something completely different, so obviously its a trust issue among many others, not having this problem myself as I have never ever dated on internet on any platform, I can't help but feel horrified for my friends who do, just as well he wasn't a serial killer as far as we know lol Halloween all year round for some. πΉ
Sigh of relief lol most people find partners on the internet now days and wearing internet makeup is a scary thing. Never know what lies beneath.
Sorrenbarret I hope you know me better than that to write something about you, you really do have a PHD Sir I wouldn't doubt that for a minute, it's a most interesting conversation that even I cannot fathom I just hear the stories from my friends who are or who have become single. Here on MPS seems their are very few females at the moment so I'm more than delighted to have this conversation with one of my most favourite poets, thank you. πΉ
Thanks so much Teddy I enjoy your poems and comments mine are sometimes set in a strange sense of humor others don't get. Don't take me serious all the time.
Like wide my dear poetic friend. π€£
Sometimes society around us pushes us to weird extremes, some people do βflexβ more than others just to fit in and stand out in the same breath.
Yes I get it, but it's still not cool, I think we should all just start being ourselves and others might suprise us, I believe the insecurities of a man who wants people to believe he is something he is not to be incredibly sad but i also think that when i see woman on filter photo shop maybe society should change a bit before it really gets to the point we start to believe on the inside. Thank you for your compassion πΉ
Excellent write Teddy
Oh, thanks so much Tony πΉ
You're welcome Teddy
He's a P.H.D. alright, A Pig-Headed D*+k. Just like in your photo. I guess this happens a lot in today's dating scene. It's good you posted this; it can serve as a warning to those who date in this manner. It was a powerful piece and the experience behind it makes it very believable. - Phil A.
Thank you dear Phil, As i'm a women of integrity and I would accept anyone who was worth my time, however, as you say the world we now live is a terribly sad home for all but honesty wins over any wonderful woman, it's just he made women uncomfortable when he invited himself to their home towns online, I understand this as its happened to me, but being married i can laugh it off, some women take it serious as a love interest. πΉ
Terrific poem
Teddy, makes you
think twice. π±
Are these people
really realΒΏ? Naughty or nice.
Or in Halloween disguises.ππ
Great presentation poetess!β
Best wishes π π€ πΉ Thad
Thank you dear Thad, Halloween mask, can stay on all year round on the internet. πΉ
This is definitely not me Teddy, I am what I am and as I say if people do not like what they see in me it is not my problem it is theirs.
Andy
And that is why I adore you dear Andy. πΉ Thank you Sir π€
Whether in the dating scene or political, these masked monsters try to gain people's trust, And sadly some people fall for their lies only to find out too late of their misplaced trust. Some snakes slither in the darkest of intentions, but in the end get eaten up by the smartest of eagles. ππ
And your brilliance on this subject is truly appreciated as much as it is for dating it is in fact also for this political turmoil in our world. Thank you my dear A.P for such a gracious review. πΉ
