I'll always remember, how we met that day.
I was hooked immediately, you lit up my life!
You turned me on, really took my breath away.
You were with me everywhere I'd go.
I was at ease from your warm, slow burning glow!

Then my Doctor on a visit said to me,
that it was best, we part.
He said that in the end my friend;
that you'd surely destroy my heart.
I could not hide the tears that I cried.
Giving you up was very, very rough.
And living without your 'nicotine',
getting through each day'd be tough.

I taste you constantly on my lips;
your smell, still lingers on my finger tips
It's torture trying to live without you,
you are on my mind each day and night!
But I knew all along; you'd do me wrong,
that the "Surgeon General", was right~
