Whispers To The Ocean

Whispers To The Ocean

Day 3

(She conversed with the ocean)

Thank you for the heartbeat within,

For my heart pulses in love, as your waves rage for me.

Thank you for the smile in my mind,

My smile reflects yours, like light on your waters.

Thank you for the fire of our desire;

Your fire, a bright magma deep within.

Thank you for the pleasure beneath my skin,

All wet, as your waters cover me, no escape.

My love, thank you for the kindness and tenderness,

For your vastness, calm and tender, follows me everywhere.

By her, to me, and through me

      Very mesmerizing and the back and forth conversation seemed to imitate the waves comming and going. The symbolism is underlying and deep like the sea. I loved the gratitude expressed. Overall it was very nicely worded. Great poem

        Thank you so much, I’m pleased the rhythm and symbolism resonated with you. I wanted to capture that ebb and flow, like waves, and the depth that only love can bring. Your thoughtful words are encouraging and motivating. Thanks
