The (W)Hole of Darkness

MendedFences27

The (W)Hole of Darkness

The (w)hole of my life

is filled with blackened darkness.

Created when you left

I now, carry Megatons of pain

that recur again and again.

Loneliness tears at my heart

no matter the space within a day

but it is worse in the night

darkness at every corner

nowhere is there light.

The intense gravity of loss

crushes my soul

splinters my heart

until I feel like nothing more

than a spot of energy.

You have described it far more beautifully than I ever could, whether it's lost through death or just people who change it's love, and when it's gone, its gone. It's everything you have so exquisitely expressed here. Kudos 🌹

Thank you, Teddy. Any breakup of a relationship weighs heavily on both parties. Here I tried to stress this weight by allegorically comparing it to a black hole. Thank you for your kind words. They are much appreciated.

You just hit the proverbial nail squarely and so very poetically on its head sir .. Neville

Very well understood my friend. Been there all too many times. Nice work.
