Tommy Rum played drum
William star played guitar
Jennifer mellow played piano
Lisa black played sax
Were they famous
Maybe someday
For now just a garage band
With big plans in their heads
They dream away
As they play
Just a garage band
Birthday parties
Malls
And Fairs
They play wherever they can
Will they break through
Will they break free
Maybe someday it shall be

We have to hang on to our dreams don't we .. Each of my three old bands - Split Lip, Average Contents & Shylock had a thing going for a while but then Jimbo quit, another guy had a bit of a meltdown and the rest of us either went on to uni, or found paid jobs and that was that .. dream over .. Neville
That is worth a conversion into your characteristic form and a pin, Neville... Please!
Thank you
As one who used to be in a garage band, this hit home. Granted, we never "broke through," but I would not change that time for the world! Thank you for bringing me back there, Tony! Excellent write! ππ

Thank you Thad, best regards
My garage band only played out once but started me on a lifetime of listening and playing music. This has held me sane now for many years. Thanks for this.
Thank you
Playing any music with others is so wonderful Tony, I have played in bands in the past and am in two choirs at the moment and all is so enjoyable.
Andy
Thank you
