My Little Me

Young Fella

My Little Me

An innocent creature,

A gorgeous face so pure,

Long hair, dark and flowing,

Piercing eyes, ever glowing.

Soon seven, growing fast,

Yet in my heart, you'll always last.

My entire life is meant for you,

A lighthouse guiding, strong and true.

Your laughter shines, my sun each day,

Always close, never far away.

Close to hug, to kiss, to hold,

My little baby, worth more than gold.

Daddy’s shelter, safe and warm,

No rain, no storm can bring you harm.

I’ll stand strong, I’ll always stay,

To keep your fears and tears away.

My life is tough, my path is steep,

But for you, my love runs deep.

Through roughest seas and skies above,

Forever, my little me, I love.

Henceforth we’re five, hand complete,

Bound by a love that none can understand.

We care without approaching,

We protect without showing,

We love without knowing.

Our love binds us hard.

Each of you is my strength, my purpose,

My endless loves, my everything.

Four my four loved ones

You are living a rich and fulfilling life.

This is what the poem may seem to convey at first glance, but in reality, it is intricate and complex, making it difficult to fully understand without context. Nevertheless, I truly appreciate your positive interpretation and you \'re right, it is partly true. My life with my daughter makes me be fulfilled.

Daddy used to carry me on his shoulders way, way too many years ago, and how I loved it! He taught me all I know, as Mum did likewise, until this beautifully seems to blend both perspectives only because I'm an adult. Wonderfully rendered with a charming, lingering poignancy and excellent imagery, this touches a delicate, yet strong and lively cord, playing the most beautiful strains. Thank you for sharing.
