Notice of absence from arqios
Be kind….
…. words don’t rewind
Be kind….
…. words don’t rewind
All this who-ha about
Distance in relationships
But what of short-distance
Instead of long, or even
Point blank relationships!
Too much space, so-so-ho-hum,
And claustrophobic, let me get
A breathe, tight of chest and
Body parts gone to sleep
Only you can suffer as
Ants crawl on pins and needles;
While all along your love
Looks on with a hurt and
Quizzical look! So down it goes
You sink in a puddle of woes.
It really don't matter the distance
True love should always pull through.

What are those relationships that are so merged that one cannot tell where one ends in the other begins or in fact if they are not just the same person with a shadow. Most interesting poem.
And go about publicly as “twinsies” as well, need we be reminded(?)
I shall neva dubble dare you again squire .. enjoy to the hilt .. 😎👍
It may take me a complete year to GO through it properly. It just blows my mind that we all know about the PM, however fleetingly, but the effect on his family, now there is a gripping life history!
Please rejoin the conversation below, should you feel so inclined, Sir.
Either/or... there's a dearth of information online, and I'm not paying Amazon (aaah) a hundred plus dollars to satisfy my interest.. so could either of you please provide a little more detail...
It’s so weird how there are things with little or no info about. It was a stroke of luck or destiny that there was a copy at the State Library of Queensland, and that I was there today. The son of assassinated British PM goes through a mental health crisis and journals those years. Haven’t read it yet but now the book is on loan to me for a month.
Well that's a start, Rik. Now hopefully Neville can add to the narrative......
That’s what I was hoping for as well!
Excellent write
Thanks Tony 🙏🏻
You're welcome
Ah. It's all Nev's fault. Of course! Him and his dubble dares! LOL! After reading the comments below, I do hope Nev provides the narrative details. I am fascinated! As for the poem, well done my friend! 🌹👏
Thanks Tristan; your thoughts and interaction are much appreciated 👍🏻
You are most welcome, kind sir! 🙏
All I know about relationships is that they all fail sooner or later. Anyway this is a very close look at a heart in turmoil. It's why I live alone.
It’s a conundrum!
I thought it was a poem that could only be written with a delicate descriptive ability. And yet, it makes a powerful appeal to love. It is amazing!
Thanks rin. Sometimes for lack of a delicate ability we adapt.
True love does always pull you through arqios as it has for me in all my long life.
Andy
And you’ve been so gracious about sharing the wealth of that experience, such a blessing to all! Thanks again 🙏🏻
I can't help but see you said true love "should" always pull through. Not convinced?
Hehe 😛 Good pick up there DW
