We Are Piggies.....

Now I gotta write AGAIN, ye another poem on the theme.....

It's written by us piggies in Orchi's pic

 

We are GUINEA PIGS (cavies) for the millionth time of telling ya

We are not rats, hamsters, mice, or rabbits

Nor are we them jerboa, chinchilla, or meerkat thingys

Nor elephants, daffodils, or pork pies (?!)

 

We've added some random things in there

Cos -Don't ya know us, who we are?!

Ever heard an elephant squeak?

Or seen a pork pie eat grass?

Or a daffodil eat hay?

 

Then again, if we are giant hamsters

Be afraid, very afraid

Cos we've mutated

And we're in a film:

'Invasion of the Giant Hamsters!'

 

You'll know we're piggies

If ya go to a pet shop

If our owner is working in the shop he'll sell ya, for example

A giraffe if you want a mouse

A bear if you want a cat

Or a tiger if you want a dog

If you want guinea pigs

Just ask for hamsters! lol.

                  They are 'cavies' really - singular: cavy. I dunno the origin of the name. Maybe people in Guinea - where they first were seen? - thought they looked like pigs.
