my quill,
eagerly awaits
to be dipped into
the inkwell
of my mind,
bewildered i be
as i sit -
thoughts dangle
like bats
upside down
in this cave of
darkness,
all i hear
is a slight fluttering,
then silence--
as i stare down
upon this
parchment
i see a freshly dug
grave and casket-
hard as i try
'my muse';
i cannot exhume~

Lol! Writerβs block is a thing, but glad it has not hit me for a while. Though your muse is still intact, I like how youβve played with the concept of not having anything to write, yet still trying to get something penned! Well done! πΉπ
