Writing some lines today

It's not Xmas - it's Christmas

Say it 10 million times or more this month, December

And you won't incur Goldfinch's wrath!

But some write 'Merry Xmas'

It might be that they still believe

The true meaning of Christmas

But 'Christmas' is quite a long word

And could take up a lot of ink

If ya got about 6,843 cards to write

And folk say 'Oh, it saves me 2 seconds per card

To write 'Xmas' instead of 'Christmas' every time'

Woof! A couple of conundrums from Fido

If Jesus was born in 1 AD

How did they work out all the years 'BC'?

But how, as some say, was He born in 4BC?!

And was it December 25?

It may have been, Oh I dunno, random...

May 23; August 6; November 13

Take your pick maybe!

And what about these months?

September - 7th month (it's our 9th month)

October - - 8th month (it's our 10th month)

November - 9th Month (it's our 11th month)

December - 10th Month (it's our 12th month)

Did they leave out two months?

If so, which two?

Goldfinch and I should know these things really

As we're both millions of years old

Though Fido knows 99% of everything

He is asking you about some of the 1% things

That he don' know!
