The Power Of Silence.

Goldfinch60

In life you come across them,

Those people who do not listen,

Do not listen to wise words.

These people are pointless,

Pointless to talk to.

So don’t waste your words

As those people deserve,

Deserve your silence,

As sometimes it is powerful,

So powerful when you say it,

When you say nothing at all.

Nothing speaks, louder than silence. Yes, Sandy silence is a powerful thing. It can punctuate a sentence and makes its own statement. Nicely stated.

          Most kind soren, thank you.

Silence is golden. What more can I say? Sometimes, people come at you looking for an argument. It is best to just remain silent and let it all pass. Silence at this point will drive them crazy. Wise words today Andy. - Phil A.

Silence is golden. and a reminder also of a song too. I think it may have been Brian Poole and the Tremeloes , but I am not sure. Your song to accompany a delight. Thank you Andy.

                              • Goldfinch60

Thank you Cassie. Yes it was a hit for Brian Poole and the Tremeloes back in 1967 but was originally recorded by The Four Seasons in 1964.
