I a drop, you a stream
both possessed by an ocean's dream
My way to fall
yours to crawl
back to origin's call
You a bee I a fox
you were deceived by my curly locks
Your way to thrive
mine to survive
nature intended you to return to the hive

An interesting meeting of differing species, coated in humour and possibly more!
Thank you, my friend. I appreciate your read and comment. And you were right to perceive that it does go a bit deeper. We all return to our origin and place of being. Summer are meant to be together and others not we all have our differences.
My dog once ran away and eventually came running home side-by-side with a fox. No joke. The two made friends! LOL! She's also been stung by bees before. They did not make friends! 🤣 A wonderful poem, Soren. Enjoyed it thoroughly, my friend! ❤️🙏
Thank you, Tristan. I appreciate your comment. Yes different species. Do make friends at times and sometimes those work out and other times not. We are all meant to be what we are.
For sure...and not a bit different than that! You are most welcome, Soren!

Thank you, Mason. I appreciate your review and kind words.
You manage to convey most of a message in ten lines that takes me five verses. This is more fine work.
