Mother:
You ruined my life, you little parasite. I was young and beautiful.
Now I’m alone looking after a screaming brat.
I will never be happy again and it’s all your fault.
Sister:
Get out of my room you slug. I’m not listening to you.
La La La La La. Oh God why do I have to have a brother.
You have ruined my life.
I can’t invite a boyfriend home because of you.
I hate my life and I hate you.
Teacher:
Sit up straight you little sea urchin. Learn your spelling.
You don’t want to dumb do you.
Oh why do I bother? I could have been an architect.
Instead I’m stuck with a room full of losers like you.
Wife:
Oh my God I should have listened to my Mother.
She said you wouldn’t amount to anything.
I should have married Colin he had his own business.
But you. You can’t even talk. And who left towels on the floor.
Oh God give me strength.
You know you ruined my life don’t you.
Boss:
I need to see you in my office.
Head office is down-sizing and we need to get rid of the dead wood.
Sorry you’re fired. Clean your desk out straight away.
It’s not you it’s just the economy.
We just got to protect the bottom-line.
Psychiatrist:
Having trouble sleeping? How do you feel about that?
You have abandonment issues.
You need to share your feelings. Get connected.
I can’t help you if you won’t help yourself.
Death:
Time to go my son. I have a long list of people to collect.
Don’t make me wait. Close your eyes now and rest.

Feeling the relentless barrage of judgement from all directions with death being the finality of these pressures.
You are right mi amigo as usual. Relentless barrage of judgement. Great line I'll have to steal that one.
Go and multiply! Love to see where you take this line 👍🏻
A very touching poem, highlighting how things often said in temper or impatience in isolation might be manageable, But when it is constant and in all directions it can have devasting effects.
Yes indeed.Thanks for commenting

Intriguing words David, we must always think of ourselves as getting better in life.
