Black feathers

rin

Rain fell from the sky
Everyone put up umbrellas

Spears fell from the sky
Everyone raised their shields to protect themselves

Love fell from the sky
Everyone avoided it because they didn't know whose love it was

Black feathers fell from the sky
Everyone thought it was a sign that the world was going bad

No one knew it meant a blessing
No one knew it meant a blessing

    no blessing under the rain
    sky as a shield
    nothing quenching your pain

The pain in a person's heart is something that only one can understand. Your comment is very good.
And I have no problem avoiding all the falling spears while doing repetitive side jumps.

    • Cheeky Missy

Very lovely and rendered to effect in charming little stanzas mincing down the page with superb imagery and a gently haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.

I am very happy to hear your compliments.
I feel that your poem is quite skilled. It is poetry, music, drama, and yet I think it is amazing how your thoughts are expressed in your poems.

Wow rin! That totally needed to be translated and shared. Liked and Faved. 👍🏻 By the way, the site is beautiful, it has no comment box activated so I couldn’t leave a sign that I visited so I am doing it here in this comment.

No One knew it meant a blessing, what a missed opportunity for all. Love you thought process here!

                Thank you!
Jesus Christ, for example, was executed without it being recognized as a man of saving aspirations, and Jeanne d'Arc was executed as an apostate even though she had the same aspirations.
Politicians and religious people usually execute people with salvific aspirations.
It seems that types whose values are unprecedented are perceived as heretics or stragglers.
