Notice of absence from arqios
Be kind….
…. words don’t rewind
Be kind….
…. words don’t rewind
a sail without its wind
prevailing
and oars without waters
deep
within heaving chest
spraying cheeks moist

Interesting well written poem
Makes me think of those things that are missing .. then it doesn’t always feel like ‘ home ‘ does it
I get that feeling sometimes here , where I live doesn’t always feel like ‘ home
But I guess ‘ home ‘ can be when around certain people aswell
Indeed! That homey feeling can be quite important, at least I believe it to be so,to our general well-being. Thanks kindly 🙏🏻
This is intriguing.powerful metaphors here.
All scrunched up and consolidated. Thanks heaps DW 🙏🏻
Been there my friend and it is not where one wants to be. So nicely put in so few words
Thanks Soren, brevity has a punch all its own. Thanks my friend 🙏🏻
Could be stuck in the middle of nowhere, beautiful dear arqios, much to reflect on in so little words elegant and I couldn't agree more about words. I believe Kindness is underrated my friend it really can go a long way. 🌹
We have big talk on and gallant strides towards resilience when kindness is a key ingredient often overlooked. At least that’s what I believe. Thank you most kindly 🙏🏻
Good write A.
Thanks o 🙏🏻
This is another example of great word economy! A lot said in such few words! Well done, friend! 🌹👏
Thanks friend, I am finding a great appeal in economy and minimalism. 🙏🏻
Indeed! And you are rocking it out!
👏👏 Clapping!
Short and succinct
awesomazing brevity!
Great use of metaphor,
yup kindness is the key! 🗝️
Best regards ✌️ Thad
Thanks Thad, much appreciated 🙏🏻
Home is where the heart is arqios.
Andy
Indeed Andy, thanks 🙏🏻
A fine write. I found this rather thought-provoking, about the idea of what is home, and where is it. Nicely done.
Thanks Tom, so true about home… thank you 🙏🏻
