There is a man

rin

There is a man who cuts down forests to install solar panels all over the world

That is me
I am doing it for the sake of the environment

There is a man who sells weapons to bring peace to the world

That is me
I am doing it to put an end to wars in the world

There is a man who wastes money to put an end to poverty in the world

That is me
I am doing it to lubricate the world economy

There is a man who steals the superpowers of heroes to eradicate monsters in the world

That is me
I am doing it so that they can fight with the same strength as normal people

There is a man who doesn't eat whales to destroy them

That is me
Because I knows that all whales in the world will eventually become extinct

There is a man who drives a sleigh pulled by Santa Claus

That is me
Because the reindeer are working more hours than the regulations require

There is a man who doesn't do anything for me

That is me
It's as natural as spraying insecticide on a mosquito when you see onesee one

  • Comment from author about the poem: used google. Let me explain about my previous work 'Holy beast'. This poem contains a code. Hippopotamus is 'KA-BA' in Japanese, and the opposite is 'BA-KA', where BAKA means idiot or fool. In other words, we can put Holy beast with hippopotamus as a constant. At first glance, the protagonist is a hippopotamus, but in the other world line, he is a Holy beast and lives hiding it. It is really a poem about parallel worlds where two stories are going on at the same time.

I love poems that use the absurd to make a point and this one does it well. A most fun read that made a point.

I'm glad it matched your tastes. To be honest, I would have been confused if it were read literally.

Although this word does not exist in Japanese, it has been used by high priests in Japan since ancient times. In the English-speaking world, it was an expression that could be expressed in one word. Thank you, I'm glad to hear your praise.

I am influenced in no small part by the way you express the image of society that you see.
          Thank you.
