In an old and abandoned house
you'll find the ghost of Lena Grouse.
You'll see her in the candlelight,
wandering through the halls each night.
Her bloody image quite the fright!
```
Two bodies dead that day were found.
Both "hogtied" and securely bound.
It was a truly gruesome scene,
their skeletons a rotten green.
His head it's said was lopped off clean!
```
Later, her husband they'd arrest.
It wasn't long 'fore he confessed.
Jealousy it seemed 'twas the fuel.
Turned him into a raging ghoul,
no longer would he play the fool!
```
In an old and abandoned house,
you'll find the ghost of Lena Grouse.
Though many decades she's been dead.
She won't stop searching so it's said.
Not till she finds, 'her lovers head'! ~
Always in for a good scare! You're welcome Thad!
Haunting may I say. Dark for sure, Gruesome too. Intriguing as well and yes where is the head? Reminds me of the song "Where did you sleep last night" by Leadbelly and covered by Kurt Cobain/, his head was found in a driving wheel.
Gruesome, but entertaining Thad. And a true story? Wow. Seems the husband got a little bit narked at his wifeβs infidelity π. A demonstration of anger and jealousy at boiling point and what it can lead to:)
Blood and gore all over the floor;
No culprit within a bullβs roar.
Her husband a bit of a mouse,
Not good enough for Lena Grouse.
She underestimated him
And decided to do some simβ¦.no, sorry I meant sinβ¦
Put me off me breakfastβ¦. π€’
Asking for a favor, Thad. If Lena finds the head and manages to put it back on can you ask her how she did it? I lost mine when I forgot to mind my manners in the Halls of Valhalla and was decapitated!
Howdy Mutley!! π ππ»
Thank you! π
I saw her ghost and asked her
what to do!? π―
She said, to put your head back on,
it's best to use some Crazy-Glue! πΏπ
