Not enough colours

David Wakeling

Indigo purple possums and bright turquoise puppies,
Emerald green chickens and shiny red bunnies,
Banana yellow pandas and orange meerkats.
Pink mice and ocean blue fluffy rats.
Fire engine red kittens and an opal blue duckling,
There aren’t enough colours to colour everything.

The most colorful poem. It strikes the imagination and pulls the thoughts through the eye of a needle, expanding into a colonoscope of wonder. This is what poets do.
