The eagle envied the two-headed eagle
For it was one more thought
But the two-headed eagle was troubled
Because two thoughts can never become one
Then King Ghidorah came and said to the two-headed eagle
I am troubled too, but you have taught me that one less head does not change anything
And the eagle understood that it was like that
And flew away somewhere far away

Dang! You've got me there. I can't pin down precisely what to reply in the face of that. Charmingly rendered with excellent imagery and a haunting poignancy.
I don't need a correct answer. I appreciate how your personality responded.
Oh for one clear thought! It appears to be about envy, complexity and understanding. King is he that determines his trouble.
Nice idea! But over time, the king begins to adopt a single-headed way of thinking. The problem continues.
I enjoyed the read, reminds of that saying Two heads are better than one, when they are trying to solve a problem and that is not always the case, sometimes it just over complicates the issue. Good poem, Thank you
I think it's easier to find solutions if you think together than by yourself. There is nothing wrong with that statement, but it is a principle and cannot be said to be absolutely correct.
Thank you for teaching me such interesting sayings.
You are very welcome
Envy is not a good thing and little good comes from it. It would seem in this poem that the eagle represents American people. The most fun read.
America is a country that is free but has intense competition, so it's easy for everyone to be envious of it. People who can live their lives without worrying about others have the talent of individuality.
Russian and Serbian eagles !
Japanese and Korian eagles!
Well rin, all I could think of when reading your poem is that when you’ve got a problem to solve, two heads are better than one. Enjoyed my visit to your page.
When I am having trouble solving a problem, I need to think from a different perspective than my own.
I always look forward to seeing your poems posted.
Great write
I look forward to you visiting and commenting from time to time. It feels like a stray cat has come into my garden. A stray cat is a cat that has gained freedom.
But,your picture is dog!
You're welcome
Eagle envy. Love it!
"Thoughts are not the problem.
Thinking you are the thoughts is the problem,"
Said the million-headed eagle.
What lies beyond philosophy is not thinking!
For sure!
