I unsend my love, carefully, methodically,
Each word, each gesture, drawn back into myself.
The mornings we greeted with warmth,
The evenings we surrendered to the night,
I take them all back, leaving echoes in their place.
Your touch, a phantom on my skin,
Your voice, an echo in the silent chambers of my mind.
I unsend my love, undo the shared moments,
The laughter that danced in the air, now silenced,
As memories fade into the quiet night.
We were a symphony, now we are silence,
A melody unsent, notes erased from the score.
I unravel the dreams we wove together,
Watch them drift away like autumn leaves,
Carried by the winds of change and time.
In the stillness, I unsend my love,
Each heartbeat a step back, away from you.
The promises whispered under starlit skies,
Now mere dust, scattered in the wind,
Unmade vows drifting into the unknown.
I unsend my love, a letter never delivered,
Words unsaid, emotions unexpressed.
Our story, once written in the stars,
Now fades into the oblivion of what never was,
A tale untold, a love unsent, forever lost.

A dark and sad poem but maybe not for if love can be unsent then never felt and now not remembered there will be no pain and in that a sun raises on new terrain of a reborn world. Lovely
Thanks Soren, dark is sometimes the bent but there is indeed rebirth around the bend. Thanks kindly ๐๐ป๐๏ธ
Most welcome my friend
It can be reimagined thusly: "In one fleeting breath I held your name,
Once, just onceโno age-old reverie to bind us.
My heart unraveled its songs before they formed,
No necklace of memories, only shards of now.
When I scroll through screens of touch and text,
You blur before meโa spark that flickers, then fades."
Wow. Now that is simply gorgeous! I wish I could keep that! Wow, just wow. I love it!!!!
Letโs find a way to make it a keepsake, shall we? ๐๐ป๐๏ธ

Apologies Arqios I thought I had left feedback this, morning. I guess there are some people who might be able to do this and relieve themselves of the pain and hurt, it certainly is a logical and ideal way to deal with lost love. The write is really well thought out and written, enjoyed the read
Hey friend, it does happen. Weโre all good ๐๐ป๐๏ธ
Tagore was so exquisite and passionately all about love, love, love romance, I was swept away on those golden wings, intoxicated. Curiously, therein I found a kinship with the loving relationship I thought I had with the LORD of the holy Scriptures. Finding how unbiblical his love was in contrast to the God of the Bible, I saw the error of my ways and repudiated them. It's fascinating you reference him, playing off his excellence with this lovely piece in eloquent tribute to divorce. Beautifully rendered with excellent imagery and a painful poignancy. Thank you very much for sharing.
In that โtrystโ I had to distil the reflective image and likeness to find as in the psalms a declaration of divine love and a kinship that illuminates agape above and enveloping other expressions of love. The more human expression helping me understand the Other.
Mmm.
Wow, emotional journey of retracting love, reflecting on shared moments, and the transformation of a once-vibrant relationship into silence and absence. It addresses themes of memory, loss, and the fleeting nature of love.
Thanks for the Fave @Friendship ๐๐ป๐๏ธ
so shall that day be marked that love was indent๐
