[ Our Sea Of Love ]

Thad Wilk

i

once i was alone

in an ocean

of tears-

stranded,

drowning in this

ever rising tide

of despair

somehow i found you-

ii

hope, whispered to me

and the ebullient tide

of your being

gently caressed

the sandy shores

of my heart,

with the edging

waves of your charms-

iii

once i was alone

and lost,

then i found you-

your love saved me

from this ever raging

undertow of

loneliness,

before it had engulfed

my soul~

While I'm not much into love poetry, I'm prepared to grudgingly concede that yours is a cut above, Thad.πŸ‘

I don't hate love poems, it is just that too many confuse love with infatuation.
No trouble at all to give credit where credit's due.
