misty moon
hiding behind cloud moving
your skin revealing hues
from subdued to mesmerizing
viewed through the skylight
in the darkness of night
aloof and distant
yet constant in a lifetime
rock solid to me
in times of sorrow
or those joyful

Cassie, this is beautiful! As a lover of wolves, the night and the moon...I feel its hypnotic tune calling out to me in silver beams! Anyway, a magical poem both literally and metaphorically...and I concur, the moon has been rock solid to me in both times of sorrow and joy. Beautiful poem! 🌹👏
Many thanks Tristan for leaving me such a lovely review. Very much appreciated. Fascinated by the night sky. Have a wonderful day.

The moon has been hiding a lot these days. I'll feel your verses as soon as it shows itself again. Nice poem!
