God’s Gift to Us.
They say the world is God's gift to us.
And foolishly in our hands he trusts.
Can he not see as the it turns round.
Were slowly raising it to the ground.
Nature's beauty vanishing.
Dictators increasingly demanding.
Wars increasing.
Humanity decreasing.
Blood freely flowing.
Poverty ever growing.
Egos need for filling.
Evil cannot be forgiven.
Bombs exploding.
Hopes imploding.
Buildings raised to the ground.
Peace cannot be found.
History being destroyed.
Increasing terror employed.
Public used as pawns.
No safe place to return.
Two face politicians.
Manic devastating decisions.
God's gift is in several evil hands.
There will be no peace in any land.
In man's hands we no longer trust.
Can you please take back control
Of the gift you gave to all of us.

If you are a believer it's a world which your God created. A well constructed piece which brings home the stupidity of man - a great (but sad) read.

Sadly we live in troubled times. I have to say for the first time, I believe we have lost direction and I have no confidence in politicians to find answers. They bury their heads in the sand. I fear for my grandchildren for all the reasons you have stated in your poem. Well penned Tobani.

God told us to love each other and all that surround us . His gift of love showed how deep it goes . If we are to let our love run as deep we could save those in it so that as it falls we don’t go down with it
