Inhabitants

Thoughtless

Felt your hand on my shoulder, its pressure so real.
You inhabit all the corners of my mind.  Even now I
feel the gentle puff of your breath on me when you
whisper in my ear.
The home of you inside of me keeps me going.
I remember inhabiting all the corners of your body
as you did mine.
You are my muse, my inspiration.
My internal conversation ends. I am going on a date
for the first time in years.
Don't worry. I won't forget.
