There was a time such joy he'd bring.
He was her all her everything.
He made her life seem so worthwhile
and oh how he could make her smile.

He brought her joy and happiness,
with words of love and tenderness.
Yet here alone she sits today.
Somehow their love had gone astray.
``
He did her wrong and broke her heart.
She thought that they would never part.
Many tears of sadness would fall;
it was not true love, after all.
``
She sits on this swing pondering
and still missing him all the while.
She shan't forget the day they met
or, how he could make her smile~
