I will not try so hard
to sound so profound.
I will not force the words to come
Because they will come in due time.
If I live life
the moments worth remembering
Will bring forth a river of thought.
I will not try so hard
to sound so profound.
I will be patient,
for I have heard it said
“Patients is key.”
I have a life to live.
A life to figure out.
The words will come
when they come.
And maybe, they will be profound.
