Tune: St Peter
('How sweet the name of Jesus sounds')
Psalm 63 v.1-5
**********
O God, you are my God, early
Will I seek you, so be
I long for you as in land dry
Thirsty, to you draw nigh
Land needing water desperately
Living water you be
And my desire to see your power
And your glory each hour
Because your loving-kindness be
Better than life to me
My slips shall praise you, I you bless
While I live, this confess
I have seen in your sanctuary
Your temple-house, so be
Your goodness, mercy unto me
Shown by your grace freely
My soul, it shall be satisfied
Good not to me denied
My mouth shall praise you day and night
Who are the world's true Light

Another comforting hymn from your pen. Nicely done Orchi
Thanks SB.
It's a bit dry in my garden. The wifes slips didn't praise me much.
Thanks 2.
I thirst for the water unavailable elsewhere! Good stuff O ππ»π
Thanks A.
Youβre welcome O
May that living water wash us all dear Orchi, lovely!
Thanks B. I give KP 'living water' - I chuck a bucket of it over her! Iol. There goes my New Year Resolution already: 'Be nice to KP!'
I'm surprised that, like the Wicked Witch of The West, she didn't melt when you poured the bucket of water over her. lol. Hold onto that resolution as long as you can.
I am, and I be not blowing lazy loo logic here either, a serious fan of your hymns, Orchi! I truly, truly am and look forward to them. Well done, my friend! πβ€οΈ
Thanks T.

Thanks T. I must nip in one of my favourite words 'resplendent' into a hymn again, before too long.
I might even include 'y'all', as in 'Y'all praise the Lord there, folks!'
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
