Mutley Ravishes

When looking at the arms

Of the galaxy

They don't appear to be

Squeezing the life

Out of me

Or anyone else, held

In a spirillic embrace

Alcyone has a bright face

Wonder what the sky would look like from the heart. A fun read that gives perspective to our position and a metaphor as well.

    • Mutley Ravishes

Do you mean from the heart of the galaxy?

      • sorenbarrett

Of course that is the heart of it all. But from our heart is a good question too.

        • Mutley Ravishes

That sure is! What would we see if we saw with a clear heart?! I don't know. Yet!

Makes me wonder how our solar system at the wispy ends of the galaxy doesn’t fling off into outer space! A very delightful poem you’ve shared with us here 🌌πŸͺπŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ•Š

Held in the embrace of Alcyone, which is then held in the embrace of Sirius!

Yes, your poem does demonstrate this embrace. πŸ‘πŸ•ŠοΈ
