Notice of absence from arqios

Have we found what eases pain, it shan’t remain;
yet hardly a memory lingers that might untether,
should even that be erased, p’raps a wound reopens-
it’s angry eye emboldens a spectrum of jumbled feelings:
tangible only in laconic holds we cannot hope to break.

there are times when those three little keys can make all the difference to the outcome .. at the end of a long day .. or indeed at any time .. make me stop n ponder why don'tcha until I am content with my own solution .. Nice one my friend .. Neville
Haha, yeah, total reboot! Unplug and turn it on again after a momentβs reprieve! Yay for being the first today ππ»πππ»
Love this brief, but multilayered poem you wrote here, my friend. For me, it speaks of the reality of pain and suffering's omnipresence in human existence. One cannot escape pain in life. It is a part of the whole package, unfortunately. Or is it unfortunate? A philosophical question, for sure. But when one is experiencing it, it feels most unfortunate. Some might say shitty, even. And the title! Ah, isn't this what we desire to do? Reboot and start all over. Indeed, sometimes that very act is the only way to move forward and function.Anyway, well done, my friend. πΉπ
Akin to the idea and some time ago poem about the convenience of having a backspace/undo β©οΈ Button. Thanks kindly, as always ππ»πππ»
You are welcome, friend! Have a great weekend! πβ€οΈ
So many directions. My first take was anesthesia after an operation that wears off, then emotional pain and our use of distractions that wear off. Other relationships that can never substitute the original and as the pain returns the relationship burns. With the physical the addiction to pain killers and their build up of tolerance and how they don't last. This one is just mysterious enough to bring thoughts of one's own past experience.
Oh wow, that is a truckload to consider there. Like a mine that cannot be abandoned or ignored. Thanks Soren for entrusting me with these thoughts ππ»πππ»
This is a powerful poem. I see a dance with Pain that we want to come to an end but sadly it never does. Made me think
Yes. It can be a cruel dance, a chronic pain of the inner person, groaning for release. Thanks kindly for your very engaging response DWa!ππ»πππ»
