Blessed be the Lord, for He
Has heard my prayers, so be
The Lord is my strength and my shield
Great power does He wield
My heart in Him did trust
I who and mere man, dust
And me He helped, therefore my heart
Rejoices, every part
With my song I will praise
Him, to Him anthems raise
The lord is our strength, for he be
Saving strength, sure, truly
And He too shall anoint
His Son, He shall appoint
Him as Messiah, Promised One
His will it shall be done
Save your people, O Lord
Uphold them by your word
Bless your inheritance, them feed
Lift them up, meet their need
