untitled

Lal Belle

If you weren't looking for anything serious,
then why did you give me your number.

our future just a glimpse away ,
if only we had each other.

our twin hazel eyes locked in a stare,
carnival lights flared as a result of the fair.

I'll never see you again but that's alright,
the image of your face locked in my brain airtight.

our time to meet has come and gone,
half a century has been undergone.
