A Piece by Paul

orchidee

Tune: St Timothy

('O Holy Ghost, thy people bless')

Ephesians 2 v.8-13 parts

For St Paul's Day: Jan 25.

**********

For by grace are you saved through faith

It is as God's word saith

And that is not of yourselves, see

It the gift of God be

Not of human works, lest any

Should boast good deeds many

For we are God's workmanship, we

Created in Christ be

Created for good works, God, he

Has before ordained, see

That we should do them, ready they

To be done in each day

You once were outside salvation

But now God's daughter, son

Sometime you were far off, now near

Christ's blood shed for you here

A pledge of belief, a faith. What we believe becomes true in our eyes and mind and what else is there? Most lovely
