skylark song

jim56

i heard a skylark sing in the early morn
his lovely lullaby bringing in the dawn
a touching melody that took my heart away
i listened to his song bringing in the day

when he finished singing.  into the sky he flew
high up in the sky in the morning dew
i still sing his song with its lovely melody
in my mind for ever his song will always be

Must be like an aviary where you’re at! We have crows and plovers and mynahs, quite a loud bunch over here.
