All the thinking
All the vowing
All the battling
And condemning
Is swept away
By the cra-
-ving for ultimate
Sweetness
No rest
In peace until
Paradise within
Is dug up
It's only six feet un-
-der ground

Hahaha. Me prefers C&H myself. Lovely, you rascal.
What is C&H?
The sugar brand my parents bought all my childhood, and the only brand I'll buy.
Funny 😂
Thanks!
This holds a blemd of the dark and light and leaves the reader wondering. Marvelous in its slow pacing that cuminates in its final phrase. Very nicely done
That's what I was aiming for!
Profoundly powerful, my friend. As for me, I've never had an aversion to digging! Love this! Easy fave! 🌹👏
Thanks, Tristan. Yes, digging is required! I was writing from the perspective of people struggling long term with intense cravings, and how unless the sweetness that they get from their substances/behaviors is replaced with a much greater sweetness then they will endlessly struggle with those cravings.
Ah. Got you. You're welcome, my friend.
