Girl on a hill

Caring dove

A girl stands on a hill

looking out to silver stars

glistening over the relaxed blue sea

she looks to the birds wandering in the background

and the moon shining silently

in all its white ways

like daisy petals made into just one circle

She stands on a hill

looking out to the silver stars

The birds quietly drifting in the background

and she sees there’s white and silver flickering amongst the blue

shining by the pink and purple waves of colour

she sees a bird floating by the moon

all alone

away from the rest of the birds

seeming to be standing tenderly together

and she wanders

does the lonely bird wish to be friends with the daisy like moon
