Tune: O Waly Waly
('An upper room did our Lord prepare')
Psalm 31 v.19-22
*********
O how great, Lord, is your goodness true
You lay up for them that fear you
You have wrought it for them that do trust
In you before mankind, though dust
You shall hide them in the secret place
Of your presence, they no disgrace
Shall have from the pride of men, who boast
Of their evil doings the most
You shall keep them in a shelter, they
Protected from what man may say
Blessed be the Lord, for He has shown me
His great kindness in strong city
For I said in my haste, Now I be
Cut off, for enemies taunt me
But you heard my voice, my fervent prayer
When I called you helped me, did care

Good hymn Orchi there must have been a lot of enemies in those days since this seems to be a common theme amoungst the last few hymns.
Thank you SB. Yes, seems so.
So much comfort and assurance. A sure hymn to go back to like the Psalms, in dire times. 🙏🏻🕊
