Lies Of A Fallen Beast

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Celebs question if there's a God but throw up Devil horns,
People having mental breakdowns are not seeing unicorns,
Paranoia, psychosis, voices, falling into that demon's jaws.
I met many fellow patients when sectioned by the police,
Know that our souls waking up from lies of a fallen beast,
Praying every unclean spirit away so bad thoughts cease.
There is more truth in an old movie than the nightly news,
Facts disguised as fiction, they into satanic child abuse,
Breadcrumbs are getting bigger but you need more clues?

    blatant desensitisation?

    • Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Seems that way yes, I try to not watch traumatic things as I don't want to be desensitised.

        Eyes to see.

There is more than what meets the eye in this world of illusions. Some great lines in this poem carefully crafted with good rhyme.

I doubt the devil has horns. More a beast of beauty, or else we would be horrified at the sight of him and run away from him.

Oh I know yeah, your right, just hammers the point across I guess.

He does appear in disguises though - the horns, etc.
