I get up to go to school
Knowing I wont ever see you
Every time I get off the bus I look in the direction
Where your suppose to be
But your never there anymore
Tears of blood fall from my broken heart.
I never thought we would be apart.
When you held me, you said "forever."
Now that you're gone, maybe you meant "never"
Saying you love me with that look in your eye,
You knew our love may die
Your tender touch, a soft kiss,
For I am loyal as can be
Two things about you I will miss.
As I sit here thinking about you,
My face is wet with tears past due.
I should've cried a long time ago,
But I loved you so.
I know they say love is blind,
But I had only you on my mind.
A hurt so deep it cuts like a knife,
But wounds heal and I'll go on with my life.
I sit here longing for the day you'd return
I guess life is done giving me more turns
As I sit here and cry
Under the midnight skys
I will always look away
And never ever will I forget your name
I love you and always will
No matter how much is in the way
I will wait and wait for the day
For I am loyal
And will wait
I love you
