Maybe to many
It's unthinkable
Medicine undrinkable
If all the suffering
Had zero meaning
There would surely be no
Limitations
Placed on evil's
Machinations
What if the pain
We experience
Means we're in the red
And the debt
Is being collec-
-ted at the same time
Intensifying
Pressure is
Being applied
To open up our eyes
See the lies
We've been telling ourselves
Since times
Immemorial?

A most interesting thought. Nicely written and rhymed with great style
Thanks a million, Soren.
That`s a interesting thought, it would mean an awful lot people are in some serious debt, enjoyed the read
It would indeed. Can I pay my debt with a smile on my face? Lord help me!
Wow. I missed this veritable gem only because I fell asleep early, yet my, my what a pretty little number this verily is! Exquisitely rendered with a touch of imagery adorning it and a deliciously haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! I hesitated to put this one out.
Ah. Well, me likes. Thank you again. Or, you're welcome, my pleasure.
