Tune: Bishopsthorpe
('Immortal love, for ever full')
Psalm 107 v.1-8
********
O give thanks to the Lord for He
Is good, and His mercy
And love they endure for ever
Resources end never
Let the redeemed of the Lord say
So, in salvation's day
They who He has redeemed from hand
Of enemy in land
He has gathered them from east, west
From north and south the rest
They wandered in the wilderness
Desolate, comfortless
They found there no city to dwell
Hunger and thirst did tell
Their soul fainted, they to the Lord
Prayed, to Him spoke their word
He saved them out of their trouble
When they to Him did call
He brought them out of their distress
He guided them and blessed
He led them forth by the right way
And with them He did stay
That they may find a city sure
To dwell there safe, secure
O that people would praise the Lord
For His goodness assured
His loving-kindness, works wondrous
To mankind, even us

Didn't we meet him in person, if you are millions of years old - as Goldfinch and I am on here?! lol.
Hahaha…I think he passed on just slightly before my birth…by a week or so! 😂
