Psalm 111 v.1-4
**********
Praise you the Lord, I will Him praise
With my whole heart, songs raise
Midst His people, congregation
He saves from each nation
The works of the Lord, they are great
And of royal estate
They are sought out by they who do
Find pleasure in them true
His work is honourable, fine
And glorious, divine
His righteousness endures for e'er
His people in it share
He had made His works wonderful
To be recalled by all
He gracious, full of compassion
The promise-keeping One

Today a most reassuring poem of the recognition of God's greatness. Nicely done Orchi.
Thanks SB.
Canβt wait to have some praise pie π₯§ to go with the praise piece πππ»
Thanks A Pie. lol.
A is for appleβ¦ I wonder if O is for orange pie π π₯§
The great thing about Psalm 111. It's hard to forget its number! LOL! Wonderful write, my friend. God's righteousness endures forever. Amen! πΉπ
Thanks T. I've done a 'discourse' on Psalm 119 with its 176 verse (or 22 x 8 sections), so we won't have to sing it all. Phew! I've not posted it as yet.
I've not attempted 109 - hellfire and damnation to enemies mostly! Have a look at it. Erm, it's not a praise-y one. 117 is a tiny one. It's like bingo again. lol.
Oh...right up my alley! Indeed! BINGO! π€£
I never knew bingo numbers went up to 150! lol. Or there's a 151 too in some Bible versions.
Yes! And, though we may have closed the canon, God has inspired many more Psalms than just those! π€£ Well...duh...God has inspired your hymn-poems about those Psalms! LOL! So, there's that! π€·ββοΈπ€ͺ
Fantastic.
Thank you T.
Good one Orchi.
Thank you Gold.
Now, this IS a song of praise. Giving thanks to our creator. Nicely penned Orchi. Looked after KP did you on Friday? lol.
Thank you Cassie. I bought her a pile of weeds from the garden! heehee. Otherwise she would get even bigger than her boots. I am terrible to her. lol.
A beautiful piece.
Thank you GS.
