Methinks I did. Ahem.
Did I Forget It's February?
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCXXXIX)
How wind chimes tinkle in morn's chill exhale
Where life seems buried in sheer sleep fr'intents
And Spring lets Winter play around was't hence?
No sunrise, just grey region clouds' detail
As tiny flakes have left a note t'avail
The sleepers who wait for, is that defense?
I'll put the kettle on, sip Barry's, thence
To be called in afresh where hope is frail.
Discuss vain thoughts the storm will pass by; were
There chance of that, it is not here. Then through
The cities 'gain, back home, now for in tour
Nigh twa days off, not had since last month, to
Effect, and I've made use of aught chance fer
So long, I can't believe it. Come, is't true?!

...when yer safe indoors, that is.
Tis Grand to Watch the Snow Fall
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCXLII)
Fresh ground and brewed erm, coffee with from thence
A slice of Danish kringle--oh! T'avail
Me thus with lo, the prospect of sheer bail:
A whole day off is too good! Coffee hence
So full of smoky flavour whilst fr'intents
The kringle's apple cinn'mon sweetness'd scale
That off in style, culls ecstasies. Detail
Aught after to fall short in half a sense.
With Barry's 'neath my belt ere and in tour
Was't Milo's sweet tea? Shall caffeine undo
Aught chance of sleep today? Cold sausage fer
Our breakfast late, cold aebleskivers too,
Have Ramen cuz it's just too grand as t'were
For lunch, and I'll sleep til night warrants who?

You remind me of the cold and how it increases the hunger. Once again I feel the hunger a great write
Danishes, coffee, winter storm...what's not to enjoy about these! Snowy and icy here...with high winds on the way! 🥶 Well done, my friend.
Aww, thank you, Tristan, you're too kind! Yep, I already slipped on hidden ice hours ago, the temperatures slated to dip afresh into the negatives. Thank you again!
Yes. Same here. Not slipping on ice...yet...but on the ice itself and the winds, temps and wind chill. Hope you are okay after the fall.
Sounds cold there Missy. A day off though and the coffee and Danish sound good news. Enjoy.
