The Love I wasn't looking for

Ugly

I walked by myself, blissful, lighthearted,

No love to seek, no heart to torture.

Life was calm, the world at rest,

No embers burning, no love, no grief.

And then came she, an unwarranted spark,

A fleeting light in the dark.

She danced, she laughed, she drew me in,

And awakened love I came to fear.

I never attempted, I never sought,

Yet in her arms, my heart was caught.

A year of stolen m oments, whispers sweet,

Her hand in mine—a love so rare.

But seasons pass, and she did as well,

One final kiss, then she was done.

No farewell, no reason told,

Just empty space—her empty shrine.

I never looked, yet love found me

Then left me broken on the sea.

And now I journey roads alone,

A heart that was whole, now stone.

Caught by the heart and then the loss that has transformed happiness into stone. A sad write well worded and rhymed

Out of no where happiness came and then out of no where it vanished, well expressed in this read, from happiness to sadness.
