It was beautiful before the deep freeze daze,
When the days felt more like dreams and fairy tales,
Than this nightmarish hellscape with its cold haze.
On the surface, we looked past the details,
Such as a ninety-five year pipeline.
Worse yet are the liars’ cocktails,
Prepared by those who streamline
Belief in corrupt men.
I’ve read the headline:
“Never again!”
It there reads.
Ice zen
Pleads.

Thank you so much, Tony! ❤️🙏
You're welcome
A fine write T. I gotta reduce these syllables in my poems - or maybe waffle on and use more of 'em! lol.
Either way, I'm there! LOL! Thank you, my friend!

If there’s zen, then it will be contained, otherwise anxiety attacks are imminent…🙏🏻🕊
