Arguing And Animosity

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

People in England used to be much happier,
Lying defeated in a gravel pit of billed paper.
Sentiments are spoiled with nasty sarcasm,
Evil spirits rising around within ectoplasm.
So much tension, stress, arguing and animosity,
Why did God make me different than most I see?

A questioning poem that is thought provoking. Very nicely written

It is certainly not how it used to be, the rapid decline of community spirit and being kind to each other, distant memories, this write nailed it on the head
