Sugary glow, the kitchen's dim light. Another craving, in the still of the night. Frosted top, a sweet, warm embrace. Is it breakfast? Or a late-night nosh?
Pop-Tarts at night, a sugary bite. Flaky and filled, in the pale moonlight. Pop-Tarts at night, a midnight delight. What flavor is it? Oh, what a strange sight!
The toaster hums, a warm, golden hue. Filling the air, with a scent that's brand new. Strawberry, cherry, or maybe it's s'mores?My self-control's gone, as I open the hutch.

What flavor is it? Oh, what a strange sight! Is it a dream? Or a late-night attack? Of sugary goodness, there's no turning back. The crumbs on my shirt, a telltale sign. Of a Pop-Tart adventure, in the late-night design.

- Comment from author about the poem: A parody that will bring back the nostalgia of the 80's for those of us that lived them. As I sat of the couch watching TV last night, noshing on some chocolate pop tarts, I found myself singing the refrain from "Red Skies" in this parody. So I looked up the lyrics and rounded out the rest of the song. I hope you guys enjoy this.
